Drug testing has been taken off Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller’s custody settlement, which has caused concern for many friends and family members.
Family and friends are worried about what this could mean to the couple’s 2-year-old twin boys. Mueller remains to be the primary custodian of their sons, despite being a confessed drug addict. She left her boys in the care of her mother when she recently entered rehab to sought help and treatment for her condition.
In a report from the Chicago Sun Times, family associates say giving Brooke the right to be free of drug tests will not be good for the children. Some close friends are saying that Brooke is just not the right person to take care of the kids. “Even though her mother is very involved with those children, Brooke’s problems with drugs are something that cannot be ignored. . . . Those little boys are so young. Without safeguards in place, I see a lot of problems ahead,” says a source close to Mueller.
TMZ’s latest scoop on Mueller is a picture of her holding what seems to be a pipe for crack cocaine. Charlie Sheen’s ex was quick to defend herself, saying she was only smoking marijuana. It was legally alright for her to smoke pot, because according to her, she has a prescription for her anxiety problems.
Mueller openly admits to friends that she still uses cocaine, but that she hasn’t been on it for months now. She further clarifies that cocaine’s effect on her lasts for only 12 hours after which she goes back to her normal self. The Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services has nothing to worry about as she claims her kids are fine and she gets herself involved in taking care of the children.
There will be an hour-long special about Charlie Sheen which will feature the actor’s colorful life, courtesy of Ian Halperin, an investigative journalist for the TV Guide network. In Halperin’s interviews with the people who played significant roles in the life of Sheen, one person stood out from the rest — Charlie’s confessed drug dealer, JR Smith.
Despite the actor’s claim that he has kept himself sober and clean after the hospital incident that sparked the word war of Sheen and the producers of his hit TV series “Two and a Half Men,” JR Smith tells all. According to a feature on Radar Online, Smith said he was still delivering kilos of cocaine regularly at the star’s abode.
Smith continues with Charlie starting out with just small quantities of pills or coke every week, until he progressed and his consumption of drugs increased. Smith gave his statement while undergoing a polygraph test and he passed it convincingly.
The test was conducted by polygraph expert John Grogan and after reviewing the charts of Smith’s results, he had no doubt that what JR was telling is exactly the truth.
Just last January, the actor refused to check himself into rehab. He was constantly persuaded by the people around him, especially by his work team at that time, to seek help and treatment for his drug and alcohol problems, until he finally lost his job.
Instead of doing what was the right thing at that time, Charlie refused any offer of getting into rehab and chose to stay home. He eventually got into an ugly word war with his producers and the creator of his comedy show, until he was fired, and will now be replaced by Ashton Kutcher in the show.
The semi-documentary feature will follow Charlie’s career, his rise to becoming a $2 million per episode television actor, up to his downward spiral after he lost control of his career due to his addictions.
If you think Charlie Sheen will go broke after being fired from his hit comedy series “Two and a Half Men”, think again (remember he’s a “winner” and has “Tiger Blood”).
Access Hollywood looks into Charlie Sheen’s finances, and it could be said that the actor is far from losing it all. Though his “Two and a Half Men” paycheck is now out of the picture, Access shares that Charlie Sheen has invested on a number of properties while he was still with the CBS show. The latest property he acquired is the 9,000-square foot home which is just near the house he’s currently living in. The property has nine bedrooms, huge pools and patios, and expansive views.
He has an estimated wealth of $85 million. However, some analysts say that this figure is much higher than the real value. Also, the actor has responsibilities to ex-wife Denise Richards and kids, and to estranged wife Brook Mueller. His properties include a multi-million dollar mansion for Denise and a $2.5 million home for Brooke.
Child support for his children with Denise and Brooke is estimated to be around $1.3 million. He also owes Brooke $1.8 million to settle their prenuptial agreement, and he has yet to buy her out of Sober Valley Lodge.
With all these obligations and the lost of his “Two and a Half Men” paycheck, he has already done 177 episodes which are all for syndication and could give the actor additional $100 million. His success in the social media is also significant as this could open doors for another source of income from advertising duties. Who else could have more than a million Twitter followers in barely two days?
There’s just no stopping actor Charlie Sheen.
The main character of the hit TV comedy series “Two and a Half Men” is determined not to stop on his rants against CBS and Warner Brother, the show’s producers. For most critics, it looks like he’s starting to lose his way around the battle he started.
Charlie Sheen’s campaign against his show’s creators and producers is good material for comedians, but it causes worry to some experts on mental health and drug abuse.
Deputy director for the Arapahoe House (a treatment facility in Denver) Arthur Schut say that most of them are sad and can’t exactly figure out the actor’s state, but it would seem he’s starting to manifest effects of his heavy addictions.
The actor even boasts that he smokes 7-gram rocks of cocaine! This amount can be fatal for others but the actor claims he has extraordinary traits.
New York clinical psychologist Dr. Deborah Serani tells that Sheen’s troubles could be more than his addictions to drugs and alcohol. It seems his problems are deeply-rooted in his being.
For now, the actor feels like he is invincible. Although he claims he is now “clean,” therapists highly doubt he could walk away from his addictions that easy.
In the wake of controversial star Charlie Sheen’s ongoing media campaign, his long-time publicist has quit saying he can no longer work effectively for his client.
Stan Rosenfield, publicist to Charlie Sheen, made the announcement in an e-mailed statement after Sheen’s interviews with ABC, NBC, and celebrity sites like TMZ. In his interviews, the actor claimed he is drug-free and is seeking for apologies from Warner Bros. and CBS Corp., the producers of his TV series “Two and a Half Men” which has been shelved for the rest of the season.
“I’m underpaid right now,” said Sheen, who has confirmed that he has received roughly $2 million in salary and royalties from reruns. He then proceeded to describe himself as a “rock star from Mars.”
Sheen’s substance abuse problems has put a stop on the taping days of his show since January 28, but he claims he is now “100% sober” and that “I fixed myself. It’s possible. Decide what you’re going to do and just do it.”
While the producers of his show stopped production for the last four episodes of the season, having considered “the totality of Charlie Sheen’s statements, conduct and condition,” they made sure that the crew don’t suffer from Sheen’s mistakes. Paul Maguire, spokesman for Warner Brothers Television, said that the camera operators, make-up artists, and other crew of the “Two and a Half Men” will be paid for the remaining four episodes despite halting production for the rest of the season.
CBS and Warner Brothers have made the decision to cancel their hit comedy series, “Two and a Half Men”, for the rest of the season. This happened after the show’s lead actor, Charlie Sheen, made an outburst in a particular radio show. After the announcement of the producers, the troubled actor immediately launched another tirade.
“Based on the totality of Charlie Sheen’s statements, conduct and condition, CBS and Warner Bros. Television have decided to discontinue production of ‘Two and a Half Men’ for the remainder of the season,” the producers said in a statement.
Sheen was briefly hospitalized last month after non-stop partying that involved booze, drugs, prostitutes and porn stars. News broke out that he checked into a rehab facility after he was released from hospital where he was rushed due to “severe abdominal pains” caused by, again, partying for days at his Los Angeles home where five women and booze played the lead roles.
The situation called for the suspension of production on “Two and a Half Men” in which Sheen plays the main character. After CBS and Warner’s announcement, the actor released an open letter published by TMZ. In his statement, he attacked Lorre, calling him a “contaminated little maggot.”
“I wish him nothing but pain in his silly travels, especially if they wind up in my octagon. Clearly, I have defeated this earthworm with my words — imagine what I would have done with my fire-breathing fists.”
